Pepper Grinder

A pepper mill standing at 110 cm, handcrafted from pure beech wood and supported with a robust metal base. A significant hurdle with this task was creating a hollow space running through the entire grinder. By slicing the structure in half, using a table saw to put in two square cut-ins, and then reassembling it with glue, I was able to carve out the interior. It was the perfect fit for the wood lathe.

I used different type of cutting tools for the details. While spinning, steel wire can be used inside the smaller groves to achieve a burnt look due to friction.
